“Prepare to drop next fall.” – “Sorry, what?”

Apparently it’s just what Bungie said about the new Halo 3: Recon at Tokyo Game Show. In H3:C you’ll play as an UNSC Orbital Drop Shock Trooper (ODST) in Mombasa while Master Chief and friends are busy saving the world on Delta Halo and you won’t meet them in any circumstance. As for the gameplay, the game is completely based on Halo 3 so the single and multiplayer modes will feature 4 players co-op, film saving and the forge editor. The game should play exactly as the trailer shows: remain hidden, keep quiet, there’s plenty of covenants out there, it’s dark, it’s rainy and you have to get into position in 1′30”. Now move your ass, soldier!

To bad Halo is a horrible game :P . This game could be better than the actual Halo game since it might actually take skill to play. Knowing bungie though they might make it easy. If this game becomes worshiped by the thousands just because it is Halo I would be highly disappointed. It’s on the opposite side of the scale as Halo so in reality many people should dislike it. Only time will tell! Just depends on how they make it. Don’t hold much hope for this game, it will most likely be a poor stealth game but then again there are very few good stealth games so it won’t have much to be compared with.

Don’t feel like debating, I’ve argued with halo fans to much. I may sound like I’m only judging the game based on how much I dislike Halo, but truthfully I am not.

    I’d like to add:
milk milk milk milk milk milk. How long can Bungie keep milking Halo until it dies!

Well, I like Halo without being a huge fa, in fact I don’t own a X360 and I hope H3:R will be released for pc as well. Playing Halo in multiplayer is different from Unreal’s warfare and TF2’s tactic and Imho, everything different is well accepted :)

The’ll be able to milk Halo as long as Nintendo keeps milking Mario. Some fanbases never die.
