Motivation?
Good news first: i was roaming in the supermarket yesterday pitying the average-man distribution they have when my eye fell inside a new bargain bin. Among the countless, unsold, copies of Supreme Commander and PES4 this was lying in anxious waiting of being picked up.
I bought it for €3,90. I already like the year 2010, really.
The bad news come now. I’m starting to wonder if it’s even worth to do anything objectionable. You can do your best for everything you do but it won’t ever be enough because there’s always someone better than you. Furthermore, critics never seem to appreciate original/revolutionary entries. I wrote this introduction to explain why I am now posting my entries for the propaganda contest on TF2. Winners were announced on December 2009 but Valve never revealed the other 25 runner-ups. I wanted to show you my works after that be considering the may have forgotten…
The other reason I was complaining about critics is because I feel that it’ll be hard to see something nifty come out from the contribution page on the TF2 website. I already have ideas for 3 Engineer weapons and 1 hat but I can’t do anything with them because I can’t model in 3d at all and the contribution page doesn’t accept concept art. If I learn Maya or 3DMax in the near future I’ll probably make up a fake update with them. If you want a clue they’re named “The Stickmen”, “The Metal Jammer” and “The Tools of the Trade”.
